A Private Guide to Moving Through Kenya

Arrival, transfer, residence and departure — handled so that the itinerary is the only thing you think about.

Movement is a sequence of handovers: the aircraft to the terminal, the terminal to the vehicle, the vehicle to the residence. Friction almost always appears at a handover, and almost never in the middle of one.

A single point of coordination removes the gaps. One desk holds the flight, the driver, the residence and the schedule, and adjusts all four when one of them changes.

Between cities, timing beats speed. Coastal and safari legs are planned around light and road conditions rather than optimistic arithmetic.

Done properly, none of this is visible. That is the measure of it.
